Pinwheels for Prevention of Child Abuse

(Barboursville, WV)-  The Huntington Mall has teamed up with the Cabell County Family Resource Network (FRN) to kick off the month of April with “Pinwheel Gardens for Prevention” to promote the importance of the prevention of Child Abuse.  In doing so, children from the Huntington Playmates Child Development Center will be coming to the Huntington Mall on April 1st at 10am to plant pinwheels in the landscaping of the Huntington Mall.  Pinwheels are the national symbol for the prevention of child abuse and neglect. It serves as a symbol of hope for great childhoods all children deserve because our children are our future.  The “Pinwheel Garden” will remind the public of the important role we all can play in supporting healthy child development. Everyone can make a difference!  Resources and tips to support parents will be shared throughout the month on the Cabell County Family Resource Network’s Facebook page and website www.cabellfrn.org.
