Dear Community Member,

The Prevention Empowerment Partnership (PEP) is planning an amazing COVID-friendly youth event, but we need your help.  We need each of you to consider donating a small prize to give away, even a $5 gift will help, and/or to ask a local business or businesses to donate.  Business donations can be as small as a free pizza, a set of nails, hair cut or any child-appropriate gift.  They could donate a gift card or an IPAD, whatever they are willing to give, and we will promote their business throughout the week-long scavenger hunt and at the Facebook live event on April 7, 2021.  All the details of the event are in the attached letter and flyer, please print them off and use them to ask for donations.  We will be sending a second flyer in March to invite youth to the event.

This is going to be an awesome event and the more prizes we collect to hand out, the more participation we will have, and the more youth we will reach.  Please work with us to build our youth participation and to spread the Live Drug-Free Message.  The youth need to be reminded how much we value them, and they also need to be able to go outside and safely do something; this event will do both!  Please help us make this a well-attended and fun event with lots of prizes by seeking business donations and/or donating yourself.  If you have questions or comments, please do not hesitate to contact me.
