update 4-10-2020: The Huntington City Mission is operating under a shelter in place rule and is not currently taking new people. The Continuum of Care has set up additional congregate shelter space to meet the needs of those who have become homeless since. The process remains the same.
Persons in need of shelter should call or come to CE at Harmony House in person. The address is 627 4th Avenue, Huntington, WV, 25701.

Persons will be given a rapid test for COVID-19 before entering the alternative shelter site. Persons who test positive will be asked to stay in a non-congregate setting. The Huntington City Mission is graciously providing meals to those being sheltered in all locations.
Please see the link below for those in your homeless programs who may not have filed a 2018 and/or 2019 tax return. They can use this link to submit banking or address information to which they can receive their economic stimulus payment. This link is just for non-filers. Please check this same site periodically for an additional link for those who may need to update their banking or address information.
