VOLUNTEER INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE (VITA) PROGRAM

Through the VITA program, volunteers are certified by the IRS to prepare your tax returns for free.  When you come to a VITA site, make sure you have everything you need to complete your tax returns.

In order for your taxes to be completed, you must bring the following:

Photo Identification

Social Security cards or statements for EVERYONE on the tax return

Birth dates for EVERYONE on the tax return

All Earning statements: Such as W-2, W-2G, 1099-R, 1099-Misc, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-B
