The Greater Huntington Park & Recreation District will host a series of Community meetings for persons interested in Parks & Recreation and the development of a long-term Comprehensive Plan that is being created by the Park District with the assistance of Marshall University.

 

Regional meetings dates and locations are listed below:

 

April 27, 2017 at the Ritter Park Rose Garden Room With A View at 6:00 pm May 1, 2017 at Milton City Hall at 6:00 pm

May 11, 2017 at Grace United Methodist Church at 6:00 pm

May 25, 2017 at the Westmoreland Women’s Club at 6:00 pm

The primary purpose of these meetings will be to provide residents with information and a progress report about the Greater Huntington Park & Recreation District, provide information on current activities and Recreation Programs, and to ask for your input about the direction you feel the Park District should pursue.

 

As we continually try to improve our Parks, facilities and services to the Community, your input is valuable to us and we hope you can attend one of the four scheduled meetings. Residents of one district are not limited to any particular meeting, but please attend a meeting that is convenient for you. We appreciate your input at these community meetings, and your involvement in the Greater Huntington Park & Recreation District.
