Webinar 1: Bring What’s Next, WV to Your Community

What’s Next is a statewide initiative designed to set directions for our future-based on West Virginians’ own ideas for helping their communities and the state move forward.  This free, online webinar will help you join with and learn from others across the state who are strengthening their communities by:

·         Developing strong coalitions of local partners

·         Reaching out to involve new people

·         Facilitating effective public discussions

·         Using productive dialogue as a foundation for action

When: August 31, 10 am – 11 am

Webinar 2: Facilitating Community Discussions

Want productive public discussions? Then you need strong facilitation that helps community members (1) work through different points of view and (2) set directions for future work. This free, online webinar will help you:

·         Understand the role of a facilitator of public discussions

·         Learn practices that support productive conversation

·         Develop skills in dealing with facilitation challenges

When: September 15, 3 pm – 4 pm
