Huntington Mall presents Family Fun Identity Day

(Barboursville, WV)- The Huntington Mall in conjunction with Captain McFinn and Cabell County Schools and Iheart Media will be celebrating families and children. The Huntington Mall this Saturday, October 17th from 10:30am-2pm will be hosting a FREE Family Fun Identity Day. The event theme is “Be the Best You Can Be and giving you the tools to make it happen” A variety of events are planned with individual stations promoting: achieving your dreams, exploring your style, capturing your confidence, imagination, being healthy, discovering your creativity, and pledging to be kind to others. The event will be held in the Macy’s Court and the Center Court.

The day’s event is as follows:
10:30am- Elite Performance Academy will open the show with a dance from the cover “True Colors”.
11:00am- Joe Kirk, a Nashville Recording artist will be singing a song and then signing autographs.
12:00pm- Mark Wood Magic Show
12:30pm- Costume Fashion Show
1:30pm- Costume Contest
2pm – the show ends.

The Huntington Mall will also be bringing, a New York Times best-selling Author and Businessman, Mr. Stedman Graham to the community. Mr. Graham’s first stop will be to visit the students at Huntington High School and Cabell Midland High School on Friday, October 16th for a series of assemblies geared towards the Cabell County Schools’ Achieve Your Dreams celebration. This exciting event will feature Mr. Graham speaking to the students, based on his best seller, Teens Can Make It Happen- Nine Steps to Success. Stedman Graham will be at the Huntington Mall BAM from 12p-2p for a book signing. BAM is located down the Sears Concourse.
Stedman Graham is chief executive officer of Stedman Graham & Partners, a New York-based integrated marketing firm, and Stedman Graham Training & Development, an educational company focused on leadership development. Graham is an Adjunct Professor at Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and founder of ATHLETES AGAINST DRUGS. He lives in Chicago.

Graham has authored several books for young people including, the New York Times best-seller Teens Can Make It Happen: Nine Steps to Success. According to the book cover, Graham writes about “the teenage years which are filled with growth, promise, trials, and tribulations. During this time, one may be faced with life-changing decisions and challenges. And often these dilemmas are not easily answered.
