Sustainable Period
Essentials Access

Picture
In 2026, the Cabell County Family Resource Network committed to menstrual equity by making sustainable period products more accessible throughout our community. We now provide period panties from The Period Company at most Care Tree locations, ensuring individuals can access reliable, eco-friendly options close to home.

To further support education and personal choice, our team also distributes free menstrual cups during community events. These one-on-one interactions allow us to offer guidance, answer questions, and share best practices so individuals feel confident using sustainable products that both support their health and the environment. Menstrual cups have been made possible by Pixie's generous Buy One, Give One program.

Take our quiz below to test your knowledge on period poverty!
