Early Head Start is a national program for low-income families. Early Head Start is for 6 weeks of age to 3 years old. Head Start is for 3 years old to 5 years old. The Cabell County Head Start Program is through Southwestern Community Action Council.

This program assists families in applying for subsidized childcare. They provide a list of childcare providers to anyone who requests it.

This is a system of services and supports for children ages birth to three who have a delay in their development or who may be at risk for a delay. The intervention services are offered at no cost to the families and can be provided in the home or in a community setting such as daycare.

WV Parent Training & Information Center | https://wvpti-inc.org/
The WV Parent Training & Information Center (WV PTI) helps parents receive appropriate education and services for their children with disabilities, works to improve education results for all children, and trains and informs parents, caregivers, and professionals. WV PTI also connects children and youth with disabilities to resources that address their unique needs from birth to age 26.
