About the Cabell County Family Resource Network

Our History

Since its establishment in September 1993, the Cabell County Family Resource Network (CCFRN) has brought together local agencies, community organizations, and community members to address pressing needs, enhance family strengths, and connect families with critical resources. In 2024, the CCFRN embraced new potential and began operating under the fiscal agency of FaithHealth Appalachia, a nonprofit dedicated to addressing health inequities. Whether coordinating services or promoting collaborative solutions, the CCFRN continues to serve as a pillar of support for the community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to strengthen and uplift families in Cabell County by identifying and addressing service gaps, providing access to essential resources, fostering community partnerships, and advocating for the overall well-being of our community.

Our Vision

Our vision is to bridge the gap between families and the resources they need, creating a connected, supportive community where every family has access to the tools, services, and opportunities that empower them to thrive.

Guiding Principles

Collaboration
Communication
and Connection

with Prevention Support Services
and Community-Based Resources.
In all planning and coordination efforts, the CCFRN is dedicated to these guiding principles. We identify the needs of our community and bring together people and resources to address those needs through targeted projects. We encourage family and community representatives, policymakers, and service providers to embrace and act on these principles as part of Cabell County’s strong partnership network.
