Please help get this survey out to Foster, Kinship and Adoptive parents as well as agency providers and our collaborative partners to share with their parents.

Hello:

We have been invited to participate in a research project entitled “WV Foster, Kinship, and Adoptive Parent Survey”, which should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. This survey is being conducted by Marshall University and approved by the Marshall University Institutional Review Board(IRB). The purpose is to examine the needs of the foster, kinship, and adoptive parents and the child(ren) in their care within the child welfare system in WV. The survey will ask about the following needs: training, support, services, other resources, barriers and opportunities experienced in the WV child welfare system. Your replies will remain anonymous. This survey is voluntary and there will be no penalty or loss of benefits if you choose to not participate in this research study.

At the end of the survey you will be directed to another site and asked if you wish to participate in a drawing for a $25 gift card and if you would like to be contacted by WV Foster, Adoptive And Kinship Parent Network in order to be connected by your peers.  If you choose to participate in either, you will be asked to enter your information so you can be contacted. Your information will not be connected to your survey responses.

The survey will remain open until November 15, 2019.  Below is the link to the survey:
