Celebration of Hope
Huntington, WV September 10, 2019 – Ebenezer Medical Outreach, Inc. is sponsoring the 19th annual Celebration of Hope – The women’s health event, is a wonderful evening that seeks to celebrate those sisters who have gained victory over breast cancer and remembering those who have lost the battle. Also the event seeks to educate women about the importance of early detection. The celebration is scheduled for Thursday, October 3, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at Saint Peter Claver Parish Hall, 828 Fifteenth Street, Huntington, WV.
The Celebration of Hope will provide music, information, recognition of survivors, refreshments and door prizes.
The event is sponsored by the following organizations: Ebenezer Medical Outreach, Inc., West Virginia Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program, Save Our Sisters, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Huntington Alumnae Chapter, LINKS and Saint Peter Claver Catholic Church.
Save Our Sisters is a natural helper program that provides education and support to women regarding breast health. Additionally the program seeks to provide linkages to care for women in need of mammograms, clinical breast exams and training on monthly self breast exams.
