May is National Foster Care Month

Youth aging out of the foster care system are not thought about often because they are now legally adults.  However, if we think about our own children, most of us are still providing some support to them long after they turn the magic number of 18. The MODIFY program provides post-secondary education services and independent living support to youth aging out of the foster care system.
Sometimes sending a simple card to celebrate them can brighten their day. We have found that many of the youth in our program appreciate that someone is thinking of them. Click the image below to send an e-card that program staff will share on your behalf to say happy birthday, send congrats on an accomplishment or provide some needed encouragement.
